Sri Jagadguru Veerasimhasana Suttur Math with a long history of more than one thousand years is a multi-dimensional institution of the Veerashaiva community that has contributed immensely to the cause of societal advancement. The welfare activities of the Shri Math transcend the sectarian limits of the Veerashaiva community and encompass a much wider and larger following of all the sections of Indian society.

JSSMVP Established in the year 1954 the Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeswara Mahavidyapeetha has been described by many eminent educationists as an institution greater than a University, because under its aegis a child can begin its education in the kindergarten and proceed to earn a degree as well as a doctorate in several branches of learning. Today the Mahavidyapeetha has grown into a centre of learning that guides and manages more than 310 institutions spread throughout Karnataka, neighbouring Tamil Nadu and also in Uttar Pradesh. Every year thousands of aspirants of education and knowledge join the fold of the Mahavidyapeetha.
